Empire State Building Race

One Crazy Race!

I love this race because it seems so impossible/painful, yet all different kinds of people from all over the world do it, including:

  • a 76 year old women

  • a 91 year old man! (did it in 40 minutes! so cool.)

If they can do it, you and your fitness clients can too!

Races and competitions are a great way to:

  • challenge yourself & push your limits.

  • inspire your personal training clients.

  • get more exposure for your fitness business.

  • get in touch with the primal aspect of fitness.

As a personal trainer, we are often in great shape and forget how hard it is to confront ones "perceived limitations".  But we can lead by example by confronting our own limits!  And the better your fitness level, the easier it is to get more clients and the better your understanding of the human body.  Bringing clients is a major fitness trend for elite personal trainers.  Join the revolution!

So many people say "oh, I could never do that".  That is BS!  If a 90 yr old can do it, you and your clients can too.

Watch this video, leave me some comments, let me know what you think.

Very Cool!!! Really motivating…I will definitely think about that…My challenge may not be the empire state building since I am in California but I can see how that would excite and motivate your clients. GREAT JOB!!!

As someone who has done two crazy events for charity (I swam the length of the Mississippi River and biked 10,000 miles around the perimeter of the United States), I love the idea. Count me in. I look forward to hearing more details.

Johnny Fitness, just watched the video, i was hoping the video would have been another 14 minutes long. You should have carried it up each flight with you, so we really can see what its like!

Would love to do that with you some day cuz. With all the internationals flying in, it deconstructs my idea that I have to live in NYC to do it. Cheers sir. Yo, I was invited into the next class at the Capoeira Studio man. At the beginning of my first class in the new “heat,” they told me that I need a uniform. Its fresh, felt like a ninja.

Hey, this is a great idea for a fitness challenge! I’ve found that having an ambitious challenge like this actually motivates clients to go above and beyond what they would normally do… and I totally agree with you Johnny, everyone can do a ton more than they give themselves mental credit for. I need to find something similar to this in Orange County.
