Don't rely JUST on online networking, in fact your social media websites should AUGMENT your offline networking, not replace it completely! Do not hide behind a website, get out there & help people and ask questions to find out how you can help them even more. Remember, the most effective form of personal trainer marketing is word of mouth! Get people talking when you train them & interact with them in person, then use the strategies above to keep the buzz going online.

Procrastination. Pure and simple. Don't click around browsing random content on Facebook, set an objective when you login to FB, and stick too it no matter what! Once you have complete your business objectives (which sounds very boring and official, but it shouldn't be, make it fun!) then you can reward yourself by clicking around, but keep your business efforts & browsing for fun time seperate! Otherwsie it will take you 45minutes to get one thing done that could have taken 10minutes. Don't become addicted to Facebook, compulsive use of Facebook will drain your productivity!
