Hey there, hope you are doing great!
Just a little inspiration I had to share with you. My friend Dominque just turned 41 years old. She is an awesome personal trainer, for lots of reasons; she is constantly educating herself, really cares about her clients, always has great energy. But one of the things I find most impressive with Dom is that she leads by example!
Leading By Example
She doesn't just train herself, she trains herself like an elite athlete. (And I am sure she picks up clients just by walking around, she really looks the part.) So if you are wondering what 41 looks like, well here it is. All natural, healthy and balanced. You get out of your body what you put in to your body, its that simple. When I asked her how long it takes to get a body like that, she said "Forty One Year!" Brilliant! Aging is not an option, betting better is :-)
Your Perceptions Are NOT Reality
Aren't you tired of client's saying "I am too old to do XYZ". And are you sure that you aren't in a similar mind set sometimes... When I was 11, I ran a 6 minute mile, and in my head, I always said I couldn't beat that, I am no in my thirties! Well I was WRONG! But I didn't realize I was limiting myself until I sign up for a Half-Marathon with a team. The social environment, pressure from the race, and a deadline that could not be pushed back forced me to train smarter and harder than ever. And I ran a 5:41 mile during my training! My perceived limitation was just that, a perception, NOT REALITY.
Who Is Your Most Important Client???
So when was the last time you took on a new personal goal or challenge? Run your first race? Or your longest race? Entered a body building competition? Are you training yourself like your most important client? It's one of the perks of the job, and if your not doing it, not only are you missing out on achieving a new level of fitness, you are leaving money, new opportunities and better results with clients behind. Exercise is the fountain of youth, but don't just tell your clients that, show them! Until next time, keep your business fit. Johnny Fitness

Wow! She must have done a few chins in her time.
Great post! You are your biggest asset so it pays to work on improving your own health, knowledge and mindset. This will help inspire your clients and others in your life to do better and work harder.
Keep up the good work!
Ha ha, yes she has! Thanks for the comment and compliment Mike! I couldn’t agree with you more, you are your biggest asset and the smartest investment is self-investment. Cheers!
